Just wondering if I'll be able to register the games with Impulse and download them?
Yes. I have the box version of Gal Civ2, and digital for both exps. When I had to reformat, I was registered with all mine, and I digitally downloaded all of them.
Yes you can register that boxed copy with impulse because it is a stardock game. Only retail boxes that are actual stardock games like GalCiv or Sins of a Solar Empire can be registered on impulse. If you buy a boxed retail copy of mass effect for example you will not be able to register that with impulse because its an EA game and not a stardock one. Can't tell you how many posts I've seen saying 'Can't Register X with Impulse' and turns out they can't register it because they bought it in a store and its not a stardock game heh.
