Am I really stealing income or not?

Been trying to get the hang of this Embargo ability and steal income from this real nasty Cruel AI, but having problems with it.

In my current game I have my Sova parked on one of his planets stealing 100% income but however in the Credits Summary it doesn't show any stolen income.  I thought initially maybe there was no income to steal but without embargo his planet has an income of 5ish and when I use embargo his income drops to 0.

I know it is possible for the income to be displayed in the credits summary as I have seen it on another game I played.  I am lost as to what is going, please help me!

The stolen income is shown in the "Income from Other Sources" graph, not in the first graph.

The third graph down, showing total credits earned might include it but I'm not sure.  This third graph is very revealing, because it shows just how much a Cruel is cheating by.  He's getting 4 times more income than you!  (Just compare the first few seconds for proof).

Embargo does work, and you are infact stealing income.  You can also look at his planets stats (hover over his planet), while you are stealing, and see the results at that moment.

Thanks for reply SageWon.

When you say graphs I can only think you mean the ones your get when you quit/finish the game?  I was talking about the ingame Credit Summary popup - are we talking about different things?

Yeah, I thought you were asking about the end game graphs, (so we are talking about different things).

No, the stolen income doesn't show up in the ingame Credit Summary popup.  But you do recieve it.

Ah that's a real shame.

Is this a bug or deliberate, do you reckon?

My S.W.A.G. is that it would be very time consuming to reprogram the credit summary to account for this one odd case and they never bothered to do it.

It seems I imagined the stolen income being displayed in the credits summary in a previous game I played!

Oh well - thanks for input.

Back to the battles then!  Now I have mastered 1 TEC cruel AI it is time to try 1 cruel Advent AI.  Mind you by mastered I mean it took me 5h 45mins to win :| .

Generally it's believed that the AI is best with Vasari and worst with Advent.  If you managed a TEC cruel, you probably shouldn't have much extra difficulty against Advent.
