Something that had popped up in the news in the last few days was a note saying that thanks to Arizona's new "tougher" "anti-immigrant" laws many people that might feel some sympathy towards immigrants, including children of immigrants and/or legal immigrants, have been leaving Arizona and taking their families elsewhere.

I have to snicker about this as I'm struck by just how much easier the law enforcement and immigration enforcement officers jobs will become thanks to this immigrant flight.

Just south of you, in Prince William County, they passed a similar law 3 years ago.  The results are astounding!  Violent crime down 38%, births to uninsured mothers down 500 per year (this is in one county).  The list goes on and on.  While many localities are screaming poor mouth because of the recession, Prince William is not.
