Earning Gold

Okay I've tried to search the forums but no luck. If it's in a post I apologize for posting the same questions again.

1. I tried to do a screen shot to show what I mean in my second question but I can't find anything in the images folder. When I try to past to a paint program all I get is a gray screen shot. Any help on how to get screen shots would be appreciated.

2. Single player format. Me and one bot agaist 3 other bots. All bots are on Nightmare. My team is the victor. I lead in the following categories: Level, Kills, Deaths (I have the least), Damage, Flags, Buildings, Grunts, Favor points. When I click on awards I have the award for everything but reinforcements, gold, and upgrades. My question is how can I have less gold than my team mate who does far less in the previously mentioned categories? I also out pace the opponent bots in gold except maybe one of them. How can other players end up with more gold when I lead in the categories I mentioned? Oh, I play a Regulus with maxed out Maime (including impedance bolt), Angelic Fury (included Vengeance), Sniper Scope, and Enanced Attributes paths.

You probably set the bots on nightmare difficulty, AI on nightmare get x4 as much gold. So if you start with 1500 gold, they get 6000.

As far as I know Nightmare AI have more starting gold than players, and I know they accrue experience at a higher rate then players do (ie they get more for doing the same things) so it would not surprise me if they also simply gain gold at a higher rate. But I can think of two other possible reasons.

1 - did your team purchase the currency upgrade? If you did not but the AI did this would give them a higher income than you and help explain high gold on the other team

2 - you get gold for killing creep waves, if another player has killed more reinforcements (you said you didn't get this award) they may have earnt more gold than you through that

Yes I am playing with eveyone on Nightmare. Thanks for your input. I do purchase the currency upgrades and as far as I can tell I'm usually able to stay ahead of the other team. I get priests, tower, etc upgrades before they do.

just to tell you nightmare ai are easy you might want to try fighting real people
