Purchase from Amazon vs Impulse
Amazon is selling Trinity at $29.99 while Impulse is selling it for $39.95. Is there any difference in buying from the two resellers besides the price? If no, any reason to buy from Impulse?
Thanks !

If you purchase from Amazon I assume that you get a hard copy of the game on DVD along with the pretty box but you have to wait for it to come in the mail and it's $10 less. If you purchase over Impulse you'll spend $10 more but you can begin downloading it immediately and thus will be able to play it later today.
Note that if you ever want to try it in online multiplayer you will have to fix the Mesh Error problem, which isn't hard to fix. See: http://TinyURL.com/Sins10.
Well considering no matter where you get it you'll have to register the game with impulse (with the CD key you'll get from the box from amazon) to get updates (which you will want to do), the only real benefit from buying directly from impulse would be as Dirty said you get to play it today. Unless the shipping charge is over $10 for some reason, or unless they started selling used games, I say get it from Amazon.
Thanks for the helpful information ![]()
Impulse isn't a reseller of Stardock products--you're buying straight from us. So barring sales we'll always be charging the current MSRP.
It's time for a 4th of July sale!
