Install Trinity over exsisting soase

Hi,

 

I looking to get Diplomacy and Entrenchment soon and was wondering that if I get Trinity if I will be able to install it over my existing soase (v1.17) without losing all of my achievements etc.

 

Thanks and sorry if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure between this and technical.

You will be able to install it over, but why get Trinity now? Impulse is having a sale at the moment and the SOASE expansion bundle is on sale for 14.75. Much cheaper and won't have to uninstall and all that crap.

On sale for $14.75?  I did not know that.  Great time for people who have vanilla and who want to play in 4v4s and 5v5s to get the expansions.

Hmm, big sale of vanilla Sins a few weeks ago, now a big sale on the expansion bundle?  Not coincidental, I think.

Definitely get the expansion bundle; you'll save yourself money that way.

 

As for the achievements, there's a single file that stores that info.  Just save the file and replace it after installation and your achievement progress is preserved.

Thanks, didn't know about bundle, will get that instead, although it's not that much cheaper for me (UK it's only about £2/3 cheaper, grrrr)
