Help with galaxy forge created map

ok im new to the forums so i dont know where i should post this (because i am using sins plus for diplomacy 1.011) but i have created a map  using galaxy forge (with the mods custom GalaxyScenarioDef.galaxyScenarioDef file which adds the ability to place in the new planet types) but this map has a unique design for the phase lanes thats needed to connect everything together but when we go to play it there is phase lanes that are missing and new ones that lead to random spots each time we play, and also it changes everytime we play as well. i have already looked at the map and made sure all the lanes have a 100% chance of spawning and the new ones that are created randomly are not there in galaxy forge. thanks for any help that you guys can provide

I have no idea.  Is it absolutely necessary to have the random phase lanes?  Presumably it's possible to design a map with randomly-placed phase lanes since the standard random maps have them.  However, I have no idea how since I've only made maps with fixed phase lane.

im only wanting to use fixed lanes but random ones are appearing/disappearing, i have them set to always be there but for some reason they are not or it makes lanes that are not supposed to be in the map

Make sure the planets themselves will always appear, you can set them to only appear certain times as well. Otherwise by default all probability values should be set to 1, so I don't know why you would have this problem.

I've looked at his map.  The phase lanes and planets on the map are all set to 1.00 for Spawn Probability.  That means 100% likelihood of spawning.  There's no randomness to it.  The catch is that when the map is played, some of the phase lanes that are supposed to be there 100% of the time are not there.  It's really quite strange.  That, and the played map will sometimes add in phase lanes that aren't in existence in the Galaxy Forge map.  Haven't tried looking at the .txt version of it, but I've never had this issue with Galaxy Forge maps before.  The only difference between the normal version of Galaxy Forge and the one for Sins Plus is the planets in the definitions file, not the phase lanes.  So...  Any ideas?

P.S.  If there's a sequel to Sins of a Solar Empire (Please, please, please, please...), it really needs more planet types.  That's the only reason I ever looked for mods in the first place.

sounds like an interesting problem. if you want to email it to me at harpo99999 at hotmail.com I will attempt to figure out the problem and either duplicate it OR fix it

I'm having a similar problem, but I don't know that it's due to spawn probability.  The issue appears to be related to the new planet type from Sins Plus and Galaxy Forge 3.  When I create a map with standard planet types everything works correctly.  Things get funky when I throw in a few ocean or forest planets.

Are you 100% sure you have the mod enabled? Otherwise, its possible the Sins Plus mod has an error where a few of the planet references are incorrect outside the random types.

GoaFan77 you are spot on.  I was using the GalaxyScenarioDef file from SinsPlus for Galaxy Forge while playing the Requiem mod.  I moved the correct file from the Requiem mod folder into the Galaxy Forge folder and the problem was resolved.

It was a bone headed moment to say the least!

Thanks for the reply!
