Font source in SkinStudio?

Does anyone know where to set this font in SkinStudio? It's the font on the right side by the cursor. The left side is correct. I've tried all the font settings I think would affect this, but no go.

Sorry Pict, I've looked at a couple of skins and the font showed correctly and I couldn't figure out what setting affected that menu

I got lazy because I couldnt get them to work either and just left them alone.

I guess I need to try changing the ones that shouldn't affect this.

That has a certain amount of logic to it pict .............  a good example is the skin metric setting for the titlebar, you wouldn't think a titlebar setting would have any effect on the taskbar icons? Most noticeablely, the systray icons........

Yeah, I've noticed that some things seem to affect others that you wouldn't expect them to.

No luck and I've set every font setting I could find. Even found some strange ones.
Now why would Quicklaunch buttons need fonts?

Good luck pic!if you figure this out,let me know

Re: #4 - The system metric setting for the titlebar height affecting the Systray icons is not all that illogical if you think about it. The system metric setting for the Titlebar determines the size of the Titlebar system icon and WB assumes that system icons for Titlebar and SysTray should be the same size.

As for the original topic, I believe the font setting you are looking for is under Controls>Menus>Pull Down Item in the left tree and Fonts>Font-Normal in the right tree. The default is none, in which case it gets the font setting from Windows (not WB) if I remember correctly.

That was the first thing I checked. Actually it was already set, which is why the left side fonts on the example are correct.

Thanks for trying, though!

You can set Quicklaunch buttons to show the Title of the Toolbar/Folder and that is the setting for changing that font

I never knew that. How is it done?

To show the text labels for Quick Launch Buttons, first make sure the taskbar is unlocked. Then right click on the Quick Launch area of the taskbar, making sure that you are on the bar and not on a button. You may need to expand the bar to find a clear space. On the right click menu, near the top, click on Show Text. Most people don't use this feature because it makes the buttons huge.

Hmmmm... I've been playing with this for a couple hours now, and these font settings don't seem to affect anything. If you have 'Show Title' enabled for the Quick Launch bar or any other toolbar for that matter, changing these fonts or colors doesn't change that text at all.

Call it a future feature that hasn't been implemented in WB yet

OK, one mystery solved. The text settings for the Toolbar titles on the taskbar are found in the left tree under Taskbar>Taskbar Gripper>Horizontal. It was bugging me as some really great skins (eg MikeB314's StealthOS) with dark taskbars leave this attribute untouched so it winds up with black text and nearly unreadable if you use toolbars on the taskbar.

I realize this doesn't help you much pict, but it does at least answer a question brought up in this thread.

I'm still trying to find the correct answer to your original question.

I saw where the gripper had fonts. Wondered what those were for.

I hope you find the solution. I still haven't had any luck.

Thanks Shameless for point out my goof Pict....have you looked under Miscellaneous => Fonts for Classic Widgets....just a thought since there's a place there to put in a System Menu Font.

Yeah, I saw that but haven't tried it yet. It seems you have to add a font rather than using one of the pre-existing ones you've set up.

I'll have to go in and figure how to do it.
