Do titlebars support translucency?

I'd like to add some translucency to my titlebars, but it doesn't look it's currently possible. Does anyone know if this will be supported in the future? TIA

What is translucency

Translucency is partial transparency. What you get with tga buttons, for example.

I doubt that will ever happen for XP, or earlier ......... it would use too much processor time. Longhorn, maybe.
