Black halos with TGA files

Anyone figure out a way to get rid of these without manually pushing the pixels?

Are the transparency and translucency switches for the tga's enabled? They should be, if not. That is the most common cause for the black halo.

Actually I just noticed that in the new version of SkinStudio, PerPixel seems to have been removed from specification for the start menu. In the previous version I was using, I would enable both transparency and translucency but for the start menu, any pixel that wasn't 100% transaparent showed up as black.
