Disk Won't work

I just bought the limited edition.  And the disk will not run on my laptop's DVD player.

Because the case was inexplicably difficult to remove the disc, I fear that I may have damaged the disc by taking the case.

Disappointing design on the disc holder gives a horrible first impression.

You can download Impulse and use your key to download the update.

Thanks a whole lot man!  I really appreciate it; I ended up submitting a ticket to their support as well, and finding the answer on my own after I downloaded impulse and saw that it was the same thing as steam...

Still, it's depressing to buy a collector's edition and not have the disc run.

As a paying customer with an account you can have them send you a "Archival Disk" with the install on it and you'll have a working backup disk :) . I know it's a sore consolation but a disk is a disk after-all. Bad luck on damaging the disk man, that sucks :(. I remember years ago when I bought a game called "Etherlords" from Best Buy. I had to take it back 3 separate times and exchange it because they got a bad run of disks with a manufacturers error on them. Best buy kept exchanging it though until I got one that worked right. They even tested it in store on my 3rd time back to make sure that one would install correctly.
