DesktopX - Why, when I set the "Type of Object" to Taskbar, is the text and some icons transparent?

I have set the type of object to Taskbar, but now the letters in the names of running programs are transparent. What I mean by that is that its as if the area was made "Magic Pink" and you can see the desktop through the shapes of the letters. Its really annoying too, since the area wont pick up mouse clicks or anything, meaning my taskbar object is useless. Any ideas on whats goin on?

That's wierd man, I was playing around with the objects and found it very confusing. I had two taskbars, one of them had a light colored background, the other dark. The light-colored taskbar had the same transparent effect thing you describe. The DARK colored taskbar had a normal text with the colors I picked in the properties screen. It gets wierder though, if I made the dark one 100 pixels in height or more, the text was solid, if it was 99 pixels or less, the text became transparent. The light one didn't do the same thing, I couldn't get the text solid, I tried everything. Very strange, needless to say it didn't work right for me too...

Sorry, not much of a help, am i?

I did take a screenshot of it though...
