Window frame transparency

I was wondering if there is any possibility to make window frames transparent...
I mean : not all the window, but just the frame. (see example picture of what I want)

I tried to use transparent TGA/PNG files instead of BMP in SkinStudio, but this doesn't work : a white background is always added.

Any clue about how to perform this...?

AT this point in time, WindowBlinds doesn't support TGA for the window frame. It would eat up too many resources. But I've heard rumors that this may be possible sometime in the future. For now, all we can use is BMP with MAgic Pink for the frame.

Thanks for your answer !

Too bad... I need full alpha transparency for what I want to do.
Let's hope they will soon make this possible

Myself and many others wanted this for a long time, but we'll have to be patient. I don't think it will happen soon.

That's sad ! (even though it's possible with DX)

DX isn't skinning every  window you open.

Yeah ! I meant that it's possible to use alpha transparency for objects in DX, not for skinning windows...

It's being debated by Stardock as to wether or not it should be added, as there may be issues with perfomance. There has been experimental builds using it, that are unreleased though.
A lot of people have commented on how much they'd love to have TGA borders, so hopefully it'll be something that will be implimented in the near future.
