Is there a way to search this forum?

I have a specific problem I want to check to see if anyone has addressed,
but, with all the loose titles it is hard to find the thread I need. For instance,
I want to find out what is causing the "error 13 data 13" error message I get
when trying to install the GalCiv alpha. How do I find the correct thread (or if
it even exists?
PS. I am also starting a new thread with a subject title more specific to the
error I received. It includes the file name that was being uncompressed in the
title, something which I think is going to be needed to make this forum style
usable.

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling. I can't figure out what would cause such a problem and no one else has reported it to my knowledge. Sorry. :(

Brad,
I assume you are refering to the "error 13" not to my query of how to do
searches on this forum. See the two other threads I started today, one
specifically for the error 13 problem and the other one about getting message
sds0004 when trying to reinstall.
BTW, with DGM, how do you "uninstall" if the install failed. The uninstall
button is greyed out until the install succeeds. There is no uninstall, only install.
(Sorry for the lame reference to Yoda: "there is no try ...".)

I don't see any reference to any error message in RHB's "report", let alone an
"error 13". I have another thread for the error 13 message I got. Perhaps we
should shift this discusion there.

This forum REALY, REALY, needs a search capability.

I still haven't quite figured out why we're not using a private newsgroup. After all, everyone was collected *from* the newsgroups, it uses threading, and even OE has search capabilities . . .

in the Drengin directory there should be an unwise.exe file. This will uninstall the manager for you,
