your skinning prefrence?

I was just wondering what is your prefered program for creating skins. I have just started learning, and want to know what works best!

The one that works the best is the one you know the best.

What I am saying is that it doesn't make a lot of difference which program you use, you just need to know how to get the most out of it and learn to use it well.

That said, most people use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

For beginners... i highly recommend the older paint shop pro 7.... for some reason i have found it to have the most user-friendly interface, and be the easiest one to use. of course, I have now learned to use photoshop and have tried a few of the newer psp trials, but every now and then, I still like to pull up the good ole psp7.

however, its all your personal preference, as mentioned above.

Halluci is dead on , I am currently learning photoshop after using psp 7 and psp 7 has a smaller learning curve.

Personally I've fallen in love with the vector tools in PSP 8.10.

Crayons, a flatbed scanner, and superpaint on (ironically enough) a Mac.

Now is that really irony or do I have to go sit in the corner with Alanis?
