Skin Studio opening more than one instance of PSP

When using Skin Studio, is there a way to prevent it from opening more than one instance of PSP when editing a skin?
Thanks.

when I use skin studio, instead of clicking on the part of the skin you want to edit, I open up psp and from there open the skin component I want to work on. I keep doing this for all parts I want to edit . This way you always have only one instance of psp open.

In SkinStudio, right click an image file, in the pop up menu select "Edit with"...... "Customize".  Move "Shell Open" to the top of the list.  Click Apply. That should fix it.

Koasati, it won't let me do it. Must be something else wrong. I know I have had this working before.

After I move Shell Open to the top and apply, I select the graphic, click on EDIT and I get this error:
"There is no default system editor for the specified file format. Skin Studio will now let you specify your default application for opening image files."
I have PSP 7 and 8. Not using patch for PSP 8. Have uninstalled and reinstalled: PSP 8,Skin Studio, & Windowblinds. I"m not using any alpha or beta. This is a fresh installation of everything. (Satuday morning)
Nothing like uncooperative software, eh?
