Didn't read all the threads, but if you want to enlarge the area allowed for each icon you care to display on your desktop, Simply go to Display Properties, hit the Appearence (sp)tab and hit the Advanced button. You'll then be greeted with another dialogue bos about the same size Of the Display property box. Open the item: slot and navigate to the Icon spacing horizontal and spacing vertical. Highlight the two options (one at a time, of course and make the size adjustments in the box just to the right of the "item" box you just hightlited. You probably have to do a couple of times a s you be rinning back and forth between your desktop and the Advanced Appearence dialogue box seeing how your progress developes.
Icons are cool and their just ain't much you can do to a two flat screen do jazz it up before the window dressing begins to look lke mirrors of themselves asking to be fed at all hours of the day and night. Your eyes will tire and your friends will start referring to that old friend of their's (YOU) as ...well, you know. So pace yourself. The puters are facinating qizmos who just love your company and do everything to keep you face to face with them as long as possible.
