SysMetrix

I had this problem a while ago, you have to have winamp installed and running on your computer for those settings and buttons to work. Go here http://classic.winamp.com/download/index.jhtml and download winamp 2.91, because verison 3 will not work with the latest verison of Sysmetrix, yet.

I guess that means then that WMP9 won't suffice?

It works...thanx...but one thing. WHen I click the play button it opens WMP9 by default. I have to open a song with Winamp to start it...Some way you can associate Winamp with the play feature?

The way I do it is, make a playlist on winamp and save it. Load the list on winamp, min to tray. Use sysmetrix to control winamp and play. One thing you can try is open up a folder (my computer), and click tools at the top, and select folder options. Then select file types and change your default player for your audio files to winamp. Give that a whirl.

Seems wmp gives lot of trouble using it in sysmetrix. I myself use qcd-player. All I do is setting it up to load minimized (and assign the filetypes to it) and sysmetrix will do the rest....Can even add files to the playlist (if the button is available in the sys-skin).
