Problem with Windows 7 and mods!???

Dear all,

I am not able to run modes anymore on my new computer with windows 7 prof. 64 bit german version. Sins of Solar Empire it self runs fine only when I try to start a mod it crashes and makes a mini dump file. For modding I use only the standard files you supply with the forge tools 3. I used already mods on my old PC (vista) and therefore I dont think I made mistakes with the installation. Are there problems with windows 7 and mods?

Hope to get an answer soon to enjoy my mods again!

martin, the forge tools reference files ARE the cause of the crashes as they were for sins 1.15 and entrenchment 1.00 ONLY.

I assume your win7 box had the current sins 1.191/entrenchment 1.051/diplomacy 1.011, and you old vista box has the sins 1.15/entrenchment 1.00 only

both myfist0 and myself have uploaded complete texted sets of files for modding all sins & expansions in the CURRENT versions.

and it does help us to help you if you tell us which sins/entrenchment/diplomacy version(s) you have on the computer(s), as there have been MANY changes in the entity files AND even MOD structure during the life of the game and expansions.
