Update problem
I have a problem with updating Windowsblinds. When downloading the last update, Impulse tells me that de file downloaded is larger then expected. Can you look into this, because I would like to run the latest version.

You could try disabling any anti-virus software you have running and try downloading the update again. Some anti-virus programs have been known to cause this issue. Re-enable the anti-virus software after the update download has completed.
I got the same problem, no anti-virus running, still not able to download the update.

Your best bet would be to email [email protected] and start a trouble ticket. Only one email is required until support contacts you. This is the weekend so you may need to wait until Monday at the earliest for support to contact you.
Please do the following within Impulse:
-Click the blue menu button in the upper left
-Choose 'Preferences...'
-Click the 'Reset Data' button-Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info.
If this does not resolve the issue, I would suggest uninstalling Impulse, rebooting your PC, and then reinstalling from the latest installer build here:

I have the same problem, I get the "the file downloaded is larger then expected" message since the 13th of December for WB7 too.
I tried everything I could , also did what Shirley suggested, nothing helps , I still get the same message.
Could it be a location problem as I also am from the Netherlands like ThunderNL and DulleGriet?
I'd check to see if you're having connectivity problems there.
Well all of the other Stardock updates within Impulse work without a problem so I am sure it's not a connection problem.
Anyway I managed to update to version 7.20 by uninstalling WindowBlinds7 from within the Impulse program , rebooted my laptop and reinstalled WindowBlinds7 (again in Impulse), it downloaded a file of 54.20 MB and now it says I am using version 7.20.
So anyone having the same problems give it a try after you tried what the professionals wrote here.
