CoolPlayer tutorials or other information?

I've looked via google all over the place and have netted meagre results.

I copied the tutorial pg from the coolplayer site, but have run into difficulties it doesn't cover.

Specifically, re-size and non resizable areas, where can I go for an explanation of all those numbers (preferably easy to undestand, too).

Also, have had good success in streamlining/tweaking existing skins that are missing playlists, for example. For my own personal use, have made up playlists based on the main skin itself. But a couple the bitmap doesn't load. Fully functional buttons load up, but an error msg comes up and the background where missing bitmap should be is transparent and acts as a transparent region.

Any site that explains how to map transparent areas greatly appreciated.

The tutorial pages from the main site are pretty decent, but as with all of these things you typically get a much better idea of what's going on after doing a skin or three of your own.

I'm assuming that your questions are on the playlist itself. With that in mind, you can't do transparencies at all - it's always rectangular and solid. No special shapes or see-through areas. Sometimes it's also helpful to try to specify a bitmap as way off the screen instead of not including it in the first place (at least I seem to remember something like that). IOW, give it a really large X value to keep it off the main skin.

It took me a skin or two to get the hang of the regions in the playlist, but I can do it quickly now. Let me know what in specific you're having a problem with, and I'll do my best to explain it.

I have Coolplayer 2.15, and why is it that it doesn't skin the playlist?
I am just wondering, because in the .ini file, the skin is specified there.
I would like to know if it can be done in coolplayer 2.15 & if not, why doesn't it?

For whatever reason the skin-support for the Coolplayer playlist was dropped sometime ago.
Dunno if there are plans of re-adding it - would indeed be great!
