what happened to that Serg guy?

i think his name was Serg, or Sergy, or something similar. You know, the guy that him and Staffa would allways be in first and second place in the metaverse. He had a huge number of games under his belt. I just noticed that i havent seen his score on the metaverse anymore, and i havent seen his posts on the forum anymore also.

I guess your right, but then why would he deleat his old profile only to loose all those huge number of games he had submitted, and his score? he was the only person on here who could compete with Staffa's score.

Because scoring is much easier in 1.05, he decided that he was better off starting fresh than having his old scores drag him down.

If you read his post in the White Council thread, Sergey (KseAli) dropped all his old deadweight scores and restarted to prove his point that a newbie could take the Top spot on the Metaverse in a week from Staffa.

However, he decided not to proceed (I believe out of respect for the fact that Staffa is our best player and deserves to remain on top despite the weirdness of the Metaverse). He has just mentioned yesterday that he would just be submitting a few games to remain in Top100.

I don't think Sergey has any ambitions on this Metaverse any longer because the current scoring system rewards commitment rather than skill so that's not too much glory in being first.
