download patch

I just started playing GC2 Dreadlords last week. I keep seeing there are patches available. Where to I download them from? I think it requires Impluse software installed but I am not sure.

I should also mention the update button on the loader does nothing. I receive an error like ‘can not find server’/

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have Impulse installed you should be able to look under My Games and by right clicking on the games, see if any updates are available.  Did you get GC2 from Impulse recently?  If so then you already are up to date.

I will try loading Impulse and see if I can update. I did not purchase it form them. I picked it up shopping at Target.

Can you guys double check your patch file from version 1.0 to the latest. I have tried to download it twice now after reinstalling Galciv 2, (original game from the CD's, no expansions) and it gets to a little over 377 MB of 379 MB downloaded, and encounters an unknown error. It retries a few times, and then says it ran into an error. But it doesn't say what the error was, and to try again later. Rather annoying to get 99.6% of something downloaded, and it won't complete. Is the file corrupted, or some other issue going on?

There's no patch file--Impulse just gets the latest of any individual file that doesn't match the server. If you're having download/update issues, please contact [email protected] and they should be able to help.
