Some icon captions hidden

I just installed FENCES and have purchased the upgrade -- FOR THE MOMENT THIS IS A COMMENT ABOUT THE FREE VERSION:

I note that some icon captions do not appear. It is random and persistent. When I single click on the icon, it appears but later disappears. This is particularly troublesome with folder icons as you can imagine.
