How do y'all make such cool water?

Hey all. I've seen a ton of wallpapers lately with one thing in common: they all have water, and it's damn cool, too. How can I make water like y'all? Is there a mini-prog that will do it for me?

Thanks

Typically the water textures you are seeing are native to the application itself, i.e. Bryce and Vue d'Esprit....you can create water type textures in Photoshop although much harder and the perspective look will be difficult to create. Check out http://www.actionxchange.com for the actions for Photoshop. Demo's are also available for Bryce at Corel's website and Vue is at Eon's website. HTH

What's Eon's website? I've been to actionxchange.com, but there weren't any decent water actions for Photoshop 6. I'd like to try that Vue, though.

Thanks.

Thanks! Does anyone know where I can get some plugins/addons for Bryce 5? I would like to try some more shapes and atmospheres, but i've had no luck finding anything. Thanks

You mean to say Bryce has plugins? I never knew that. If I'm not mistaken Bryce can import files made in other 3D programs, such as LightWave or 3DSMAX. So look for models for those programs perhaps?

Alrighty. Good idea craeonics. I'll go do that.

I don't search for long before I give up. Unless it's for school And I searched for about 30 minutes afterwards
