WindowBlinds not displaying properly

Top of window corrupted

YIKES ! I have a major problem. None, and I mean NONE of my Windowblind skins are displaying properly at the top of the IE9 browser window. Including the back button, address bar, home button, favorites button & tools button. What's odd is, the Window Explorer displays it just fine, but when I bring up a webpage ,the top of the window is garbage, as well as the function buttons such as , (minimize, resize, and close) do not work ! I tried the Compatibility View function, but it has no effect, but when I go back and start using the default skins in Windows 7, all is good, no display problem. I'm freeking, I love my WindowBlinds, but I can't use it : (

Any ideas out there ??

IE 9 is working okay with WindowBlinds here.  What version of WBs are you folks running?   Have you checked in Impulse to verifly your installation of WBs?

Yep , as a matter of fact, I've uninstalled and re-installed WindowBlinds via the Impulse UI, to no avail.

Are you running any other customizing software that could be causing the problem?

If you haven't you should probably email [email protected] and see if they know what the problem may be.

A screenshot of what you see might help also.

No other customizing software. I didn't have this problem until I re-installed my Windows 7 OS. At this point, I highly suspect that a recent Windows update addressing a  DirectWrite issue may be the culpret. I'm going to see if uninstalling some of those updates will resolve the issue, if not than I'm SOL.

AceMatrix I also keep my computer updated so that's why I'm thinking it might be something else.  Email the support folks.

Post a screenshot, it will help.

I cannot reproduce that problem here with WB 7.2 build 303.

Are you running a 32 or 64 bit system and under which OS?  If 64 bit then are you using the 32 bit or the 64 bit IE shortcut?

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. IE9. Interesting question you have regarding the shortcuts. I wasn't aware that I have any control over that. This was not a problem until I re-installed my OS to clean up some of the garbage on my hard drive. I downloaded all the updates like always. Then I re-installed Impulse and had it download all of my available Stardock Programs,so you can imagine how surprised I am now that it doesn't work. I can't imagine what could be different now to cause it to malfunction.

Did you enable show betas in Impulse before and not this time?

A screenshot of the issue would be most useful.

O.K. , I'll get a screenshot together and post it.

O.K. - here's the screenshot. Look at the top of the window where the address bar and other toolbar buttons are located. You can plainly see how the graphics are garbled and they don't function.

YIPEE !!! I got the problem FIXED. Here's the fix = You have to go into "Advanced System Settings"  then "Performance" then "Visual effects setting" Uncheck the box that says   " Let Windows  choose what's best for my computer"  and put a check in "Adjust for best Appearance" and BINGO!! it's FIXED !! Than-you everyone for your assistance, you all are awsome for coming to my aid, and I so much appreciate you.
