Windowblind installed on an offline pc

Windowblind installed on offline pc - Now how do I get the skin files to that same computer? I download a skin and it automatically installs on my online computer just fine but the wba files seem to dissapear and I'm left with no zip or wba file to transfer to my offline computer. All I'm left with is the data folder under my public documents/stardock/windowblinds directory. I guess the question is this; How do I copy the file over to my offline pc before it installs to my online computer?

Copy this folder ( which is the skin folder, with all the images and files needed for WB to apply skin int it ) to the same folder on the offline PC, then in Windowblinds config, Skin Options, Rebuild list.

Use Firefox and set the download manager to ask you where to save files. Then you can save the .wba file and install it on the offline PC.

Cavan's idea works too.

Saving what you download has the advantage of having a backup after the install. I do it with all my downloads. This way if something gets borked I can uninstall it then re-install it. Especially handy with apps.

Another option is to just save the .wba file you download to a USB pen or other portable data source and then plug it into the offline PC to install it by double clicking on it (the .wba file).

Might also take a look at whether you have the same OS on both computers. If you're trying to move from to to an XP computer and the other has 7, you might have problems.

Doc, if he just needs the skins, there should be no OS problems.

Glad you got it, Dave! All PCs need windowblinds. Windows sucks without it!  :borg:
