how to tell which threads i have read?

yesterday the thread titles (links) of the threads that i have read were a slightly different colour to the thread titles that i havent yet read.

however, today they are all the same colour.

i am currently using the "Green Apple" site skin, which i was also using yesterday.

is this just my machine, or is this some form of devious plan to unhinge my grasp of where i am in the threads?

That's your browser telling you which links you have visited by comparing them to your history. If you clear your history, they'll no longer show as visited. That has nothing to do with WinCustomize, other than they determine the colors of the [non-]visited links.

yep, i have thought of that, however, it is not picking up the threads that i am reading. and my site skin has just changed without any action on my part.

i think ie is to blame, the only question is what to do about it.

/me goes looking for netscape

Alexandrie has been playing with the site design/look. I'd blame her!

feline maybe it is just a random hallucination. YOu may want to check daily mental states, before looking at settings.

sorry but a lot of things change in the themes
I have not set yet the disable color in the new format. I will fix this as soon as I can.

there is a very thin deviding line between genius and insanity
also, there is a very thin deviding line between talking rubish and really profound philosophy.

remember, primatives are people who hold beleifs about the nature of reality only shared by other primatives and some of the most highly inteligent mathematical phyisists and cosmologists, to paraphrase Pratchett

the only problem is stopping people eating the gelly before you try to use it as glue
