hi guys my name is buffer i need alittle help what program do i have to have to run desktopx themes and is it free...right now i'm running windows me will it work with the stuff on this site....any help would be greatfull.....thanks a bunch........ lata

to use the desktopx themes you need the program called desktopx.

To use Desktop X themes you need the Desktop X program, which you can get a demo version of at https://www.stardock.com
If you like it, you can then register it for about $20.
Yes it will work with ME.
Most of the skins and themes that you see here are to skin programs, but you must first have that program on your system before you can use them.

It's not free, except for a trial period ??? I would really suggest biting the bullet and buying the whole Object Desktop packege for $50 USD. DesktopX stretches out into other programs, so runnning it without the other goodies really limits it's functionality. OD is also at the Stardock site.
