Question!!!

Hi, I have win98(bleh) and I was wondering if it was possible to make my computer look something like this >> http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=13&file=sshot_paxx.jpg&SkinID=231

If so.....how?

Hey, that's my computer.

So, the answer is yes. Get Desktop X and Windowblinds, then get the Nijikon Fetchi themes, you'll be 90% there. I also have Rainlendar on my desktop (http://gamma.nic.fi/~rainy/Rainlendar.html).
The rest requires a little bit of hacking around on the resources: the customize the left pane in your folders, edit the .htt files, mainly in C:\Windows\web, but alos a couple of other places. Do a search.
The start menu vertical graphic can be changed, but you have to play in the graphic resources of explorer.exe with a resource editor, such a Restorator. Make sure you back up all the files you will modify. Some very bad stuff can happen when you start messing around carelesly.
Have fun!

The WindowBlinds skin is Paxx's. You can find it here:
http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&skinID=1985

You'll need WindowBlinds to use the skin: http://windowblinds.net

As for DesktopX, if you have it installed and running, you can doubleclick the theme you downloaded. Or you can doubleclick the DesktopX icon in your systray. That'll display the DesktopX configuration dialog box. From there you can load the the DesktopX theme.

You need to download the DesktopX program. You can get a shareware version of it here: http://www.desktopx.net

THis reminds me that one can do pretty sweet stuff by messing with Web view. Too bad it sucks up so much screen estate.

Or directly Chris' link: http://scripts.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&skinID=1985

Click on download on that page and you'll get it. Of course you WILL need Windowblinds, the program. Also follow Chris' link for that too.
