PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!

Hello Everyone. Last few days, I have been doing nothing, but tryin to convert my Windows Me desktop into a Windows XP Luna Desktop. I have succesfully changed it's icons, and windows, but I cannot get the last object to work, and that is the taskbar. I thought my problems were over when I discovered DesktopX, but it turns out, that I cannot use it, and it changes the whole interface, which is nothing, but a collapsed building, when displayed on my Windows Me desktop. So, can anyone tell me what to do? I also, requested to all you great artists, to please make a Red Luna, I know there is one already, but it does not fully look like Luna, but I didn't get a SINGLE reply for that. So, please someone please help me turn my Windows Me Desktop into a Windows XP Luna desktop, without messing up with the interface. Thank you very much for your time!

More often than not, Skinners don't do 'requests'.
Because the work takes, or can take, quite a lot of time and effort, and it is all done for personal enjoyment first, and for others to enjoy, second, it is not highly likely that someone will come running to your aid, dropping all else in the meantime.
Most skinners started dabbling in these black arts when they themselves found that they just couldn't find something 'quite suitable enough' and made it themselves out of necessity.

You, too, could try this approach...

But just maybe someone might have something laying around/in the works that could help you...

Object Bar over to the left under the "Library" section might give you what you are looking for in regards to a taskbar replacement. There are a few selections in the XP style.

Hey Bill. I'm aware of that replacement, but there is a problem with it too. First, there is no trial for it, and I don't think I wanna spend fifty bucks buying it, without trying it first. Also, all the taskbar from the XP, they do not work on Me, well they do work, that is, get applied, but they are messed up and not in order, because they are on XP interface. Only if someone, could tell me how to fix that, I would really be grateful to him/her. Thanks again, Bill!

Hey, I have WinMe. DesktopX is OK! You can download a theme with the WinXP style using xp-like objects to replace the taskbar and if you want, hide or show the explorer icons and taskbar. you would probably want to hide the taskbar and keep the icons. If you download a winxp theme, remove the objects which will probably be there to replace the icons. I should work - it's what I do!!!!"

Hello Splat, I know, it might be too much to ask you this, but can you tell me exactly with theme to download, and how to set up DesktopX, because I'm very new to this, and don't really know how to operate it, so could please give me detailed instructions? Thanks in advance!
