Arming minor races and military advisor.

Paying maintainance for ships given to minor races.

Hi, so after a war against the Korx I decided to scale down my military to peacetime levels. The Korx declared war on 2 minor races, which were both in my territorry. So I figured instead of decomissioning the surplus ships I give it to the minor races. It was late in the game, so they were expensive medium and huge ships, which cost like 34 and 134 BC/week. I noticed that after giving them the ships I was still paying maintainance for them.

Do you only pay maintainance for ships given to minor races, because they really cant afford to pay maintainance on some of the later models, do you pay maintainance on all ships you dont decomission, even if you give them away, or is it a bug?

Also it would be nice if it would be possible to enter a position of military advisor with the minor races, with the option becoming avaiable after you gave them so much stuff, that it does not make sense to exploit the option, to weaken them for conquest, because you could just use the hardware built to conquer them, instead of putting it down to exploit your position of military advisor.

The military advisor should be able to fiddle with the some or all tiles on the planet, with their and his own tech, to put down a fleet coordination center for defense or things like that.

The idea of some kind of peaceful annexation/protectorate system for minor races has been raised before, but it's something to discuss for GalCiv 3 at best - that kind of major change won't be made at this point, even if the semi-mythical "small update" does come out.

Never seen this thing with paying maintenance on ships you gave away before. It's most likely a bug of some kind.

Some minor races fight, others don't. I think the Jessuans and the Caranoids fight.
