Boot straight into desktop x? and another question..

1 Is there anyway i can boot straight into the Desktop X? When Windows first loads i see my old desktop and taskbar for a while...

2 And Is it possible to use windows blinds with desktop x, everytime i load them both, Windows blinds freezes the computer..

1) DX is a application that enhances your current windows shell. It loads like any program at start-up. Therefore there will be a few seconds where what is "underneath" will be visible.

2) Absolutely, they work very well together. The problem most likely is your computer's available resources. To get more in depth here you would need to post your computer specs; OS, RAM, graphics board, etc...

Ok i solved the 2 problem, it was a conflict with a program zonealarm. Just disabled it and set up windows blinds and enabled it and it works.

So is there are any shell replacement program that can make Windows 98 look like XP shell?
