Some "skinning-info" on Tiles

Since me and Vampy´s been skinning for Tiles a couple of weeks now we thought it would be good with a Bugs-thread. We know it´s still in Beta, but hopefully these bugs can be fixed for the Alpha version.

-About download- When running or saved the file the system doesent recognize the file and you have to find and choose Tiles-program yourself, then you also have to choose the skin you just downloaded.

-Included fonts doesent apply on install, you have to go to the folder and install them manually.

-Additional layers added on top of the baselayer-animation seem to be affected by the baselayer, although not animations themselves. They appear to act as similar in an irradic way. Regular additional layers works when added as "TileBar overlays".

-It would be better and eaasier if downloaded Tiles-skins instantly applied themselves like a WBA (windowBlind), the current way is too hard to find, especially for newbies.

Thanks.  We're still finalizing the skinning specs and of course trying to decide what end users get "for free" versus what they have to pay for. :)

another heads up on a bug,

if the pc you are using falls asleep, the animation rate doesnt apply and goes super fast.

can this please be looked at?

its rather annoying to wake up the pc and see your animation acting nuts after you spent days working on it.

Normally the steps are referred to as...

1.Alpha
2.Beta
3.Release Candidate
4.Gold

The Anim. works again after a Tiles restart though :sun:
