Fences Installer not running

from Stardock Forums

Hi,

I have purchased a new notebook, and I am trying to install my copy of Fences Pro on it.
However, the installer doesnt seem to be running on the new notebook (It's a Lenovo X220, Win7 x64).

The installer verified the package, then notifies the installer is starting, and then it just vanishes without installing:

The public version of Fences installs just fine, the pro version however doesnt work.

Is the public version installed when you try to install the Pro version? If so you might want to uninstall that one first then try to install the Pro version.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I had tried both ways. First a clean install after uninstalling the public version, and also an "upgrade" install.
Unfortunately none of them work.

If you haven't done so already, please email [email protected] and start a trouble ticket.  Include a link to this forum post so that support can track what has been tried so far.

When you receive a ticket number post it here in a comment.

Wait for a reply from support after receiving the ticket number. Support requests are answered on a first-come first-served basis and resending will only move your position in the queue to the back.

Hi,

Thank you all for your suggestions, I have sent a support request email to the support mail.
Hopefully they will help me get my immensely cluttered desktop organized once again :)

Can you just write what was the problem? I have exactly the same problem, also in hewbrew.
