As I understand it: If they somehow get a Constitutional Convention, they cannot restrict it to a new amendment without opening  the door to revisions to the rest of the Constitution or other amendments … or something like that. Not at all convinced this would be a good thing.

Unfortunately I think you will end up with more than just corporations excluded from the definition of people. }:)

I'm not convinced it will solve anything. At the end of the day you still end up with the same people lying, cheating, and stealing from you.

Saw an interesting movie on netflix tonight called "The Corporation"  about how corporations became "people". It then steps through different scenarios showing where they lack humanity.

You were right it was a good movie. I always perk up when Noam takes part. I was glad to see that the Bechtel Corporation of San Francisco and the water resources of Bolivia  were well represented (a pet peeve).  If you can watch a foreign film with English subtitles I would recommend “Even the Rain” also on Netflix. It is a two in one kind of movie that meshes old atrocities with the new ones, hehehe.

Noam is an interesting character. No sensationalism... He just calls it as he sees it in a very nonchalant way. I would suggest reading his book "Hegemony or Survival" if you haven't already.
