Before Purchasing Questions

Years ago I bought Sins of a Solar Empire and have since lost the disc while moving house, which is a shame as I enjoyed the game. After seeing the price of $20USD for the Trinity pack I've become very interested in buying it again. My question is, if I use Impulse to purchase and download Sins of a Solar Empire and format my hard drive, which I do often, will I be able to reinstall via my Impulse account without needing the buy the product again, similar to Steam?

Thank you in advance,

LordNothing

Yes you would be able too. Just like Steam. Without the annoying footprint.

Seems how it will soon be controlled there, that may be a better choice.

Yeah, I think I'd go with the download from Stardock option.

Or. you could wait for rebellion, and avoid buying it a third time?

sort of really.  sins is so great, its definatly worth it...

i kinda sort wish that if you pre-order rebellion, it would let you play trinity... :-/

But that would mean they'd have to charge you for it so you don't get to play for free and then cancel your order, and if they were charging you for Rebellion, they'd have to release something like starting the Beta for the rest of us who are getting charged and have nothing to show for it, and while it would be nice for those new to the game to be able to play Trinity, I suspect that most of the preorders are from those of us who already have it anyway which is why we preorded with nothing but the name of the game and a couple of planned features as knowledge of it.

The irony of statement is that it is now available on Steam.

But you didn't say it was on sale... I was just adding to your comment.
