Hi everyone, I am bijit1. I just got the game on steam and from what I've seen of it so far, It's going to be one I'm not going to put down 
. I'm just posting to say hello to the community in general.
Hello. And when you get tired of it we have some awesome mods for the game that will expand it for you.
Welcome. You will gets years of enjoyment with the original game and the ton of great mods.
mods are nice... but. Wait till you get to multiplayer.
You will learn that in general, the communtiy is horrible assholes. 
And, eventually, that multiplayer is the only way to play.
It's good to see a Steam purchaser joining the official forum. I hope many more come and that the availability on Steam revitalizes interest in this amazing and often overlooked game.

It will be interesting to see what will happen to the game and community now that the game is now available on Steam.
Indeed, make yourself at home and feel free to ask any and all questions. Hopefully most of the steam players come here to engage with the old community instead of just sticking with themselves on the steam forum.
Indeed; I expect to see quite a few new posts this weekend. I'll be keeping tabs on the strategy forums and answer any questions people may have.
