Cheat Enabling Using GalCiv II Ultimate from Steam

Ok, I got the game from Steam and am playing it to death. Now I want to use cheats but can't figure out how to enable them on the steam version. Can anyone walk me through? Also I'm using Windows 7.

You'll need to make a shortcut directly to the game (not the launcher) and append cheat to the end of the path. The method is the same as described on the wiki, but you'll be looking under your Steam folders instead.
