Just to clarify when is a player defeated is it when :

just their home planets are wiped out ?

When all their planets are wiped out ?

When all their planets, ships and structures are wiped out ?

Its just ive played some games where i get a game message saying ai player x was defeated or you have won etc without even doing a thing to the ai player.It seems to occur when im getting more fleet cap, is this a feature or a bug ?

If they don't surrender (like the AI did in your game) then you have to wipe out EVERYTHING! And yes, the AI surrendering is a huge annoyance when it happens like that.

Is there any way to disable the automatic surrendering?
