I think the quest that gives you legendary armor corrupts save games and causes crashes too (as well as the arena quest giving legendary weapons).

to include all fights containing multiple battles in a row. Hope its not anything else as well and this bug will be squashed very finally with the next patch, never being seen to raise its ugly head again. Ever.
