(.77) Units without a Champion defeats a Champ and message says loot was won yet no loot shows on any of my Champs

Last night I send 2 archer units and 2 Infantry units with no Champions to fight and defeat a enemy stack with a Champion. After battle report said I won a bow and 2 healing salves. But I did not get these.
Checked all the champions/heros and they did not have it on them. Repeat this again with same results.
Several ways to deal with this:
1) Have the loot automatically sent to either a hero of your choice or the Soverign. (Hero of choive would be better) This could take mana to teleport the objects (like in AOW:SM)
2) Have the loot drop on the ground to await a hero to pick it up like in AOW:SM
3) Combo of both 1 and 2 above (the best option in my opinion)
4) just have the army carry it until a hero can get to them
But don't just disreguard the items like it is now
