Request -- Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Star Wars

I don't know if people take requests but what I have not seen are skins (or blinds, if you will)for sci fi flicks.  I think someone did an LCARS one way back but didn't update..  But it would be cool to see something like that.  I have the SG1 blind.  I think the Classic Battlestar would be pretty cool as well as something from Trek and Star Wars.  Believe me, if I had the time and the ability, I would do them myself but I have seen some spectacular work from Boxxi, Vampothica, TomRicter, Neone6, Klown and others.  Perhaps a collaborated work?

Just a thought, and hopefully there are others interested in this and I think something of the quality of these creators would be awesome.  I can help offering suggestions and perhaps testing.

There are several in the galleries. Try some of these:

  • Cylon
  • Old Republic
  • PADD
  • TrooperV

Those were just some I happened to have installed, I recall seeing others though.

I also did 3 Borg blinds although Assimilation V3 is the only one worth mentioning IMO.

The Cylon is for Vista :( and the reimagined series.  I'm looking specifically for Classic BSG.  What is TrooperV?

If you're running Windows 7 the Cylon skin will work. I ran it for awhile on Win 7 64 bit. As for TrooperV ... no clue.

Many have tried, all have failed IMO.

 

I did see a screeny of a cool LCARS DX theme that's being worked on....trying to find it.

 

PS I'm not talking about the one that HG has been working on for 10 years ;)

I now have a desire to see if anyone's made a build of Android with the LCARS interface that I can put on my NOOK Color.  I have a feeling I will be sorely disappointed...
