Singer Davy Jones of The Monkees has died of a heart attack at 66, the medical examiner's office in Martin County, Fla., has confirmed to NBC News.

Leaves only Dolenz & Tork.  Nesmith did some great stuff after the Monkees.  The Eagles used his version of Seven Bridges Road - the harmonies are almost identical.

Boy, I had a crush on him when that show first came out. I still can remember many of those songs - which is saying something if you knew how well I remember things. When was that? Late 60s? Naw, I think it was early 70s

i was never really a fan of The Monkees. After i saw their movie Head, it changed my opinion of them. They were not some bubble gum TV rock band, they indeed had some talent.
