I was able to glean enough from the corvette file to see that it has very light armor and composite weaponry...
Composite? Sorry confused as to what you meant, but as soon as you have that file i'd be intrested.
Also a hujnch, if there's any files on the other titan's or the artifact world in there, i'd try those for hints on the Vassari's enemy.
I didn't convert the file, but if you look at a file in BIN format often times you can still pick out a lot of the text...I only looked at that one because I just wanted to know what units counter corvettes (apparently, flak does)....
anti-strike craft abilities seem to work on them too.
Id expect them to die in droves to AOE abilities.
Well...if something like missile barrage or red button doesn't target them then they retain most of the advantages that SC do...

A lot's going to depend on their health and armour and/or sheilds TBH. Sheilds in particular could give them vastly better durability compared to strikcraft. There's also the whole question of what they themselves counter, (A look over the current gamplay.constants file suggests light armour primarilly, with some anti-medium thrown in for good meahure, so, bassiclly LRF's, and possibbly bombers if they can shoot at them). Depending it could result in a huge fighters buff because the Flak will be so busy shooting up all the corvettes that it can't swat all the fighters.
If their weapon type is composite as Seleucia says, then they do the same type of damage as heavy cruisers. So they do good damage against most things.
No doubt they are more durable, but corvettes aren't "free" like SC are (SC only need AM to build, the only penalty for losing them is opportunity costs)...my biggest question is which abilities affect them, because that severely effects their power and importance...
