[Bug] Possible Culture Bug?

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but when playing a 1v1 against the AI earlier somehow my culture spread to their home system and kicked them off of their planets despite me having absolutely nothing in their system. Is culture spreading through stars now or was this a glitch? No screens since pretty self explanatory.

Culture was always able to spread through start (at least as long as you had enough culture centers). And it is supposed to overthrow enemy planets if it is given enough time. The AI needs to be improved in countering enemy culture by the way.
