beta crashes after short time

everytime i come up upon the 30 minute mark or so in a game it will always do a crippling computer freeze and kill my comp forcing me to force restart. its very annoying and ruins my game everytime because it also kills any autosaves and any will for me to try to play again..... IDK if anyone else is have this problem but its very annoying :(

The only time it didnt do that was the first time was able to play for 2 hours then it did and it has gotten worse....

hopefully its just a glitch and they fix..... it only happens as soon as i click somewhere in that time window so its a waitng game to see what will cause it...

You should check to see if you have system specs to run this game.  Update your drivers, check to see the computer is plugged in.  :)

Mine is after approx 4 hrs of gameplay... throws up a windows dump mesage. I'm sure its just being a beta version, and will be fixed by final.

Try the re-install but if you're still experiencing crashes you should submit the minidump as suggested here:

The Beta exists to fix problems and they can be much more effective at it if they have the data telling them exactly where the problem is.

I'm having a similar problem. Crashes every 20 minutes or so. Sent a savefile, but can't find minidump. Will try re-installing later.

On Windows 7 the minidump is here "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\Sins Dump". It's hidden by default so you will need to open "folder and search options" from the organize menu, then under the view tab select "Show hidden files, folders, and drives".

I found it later- turns out, whatever the bug is, it kills sins before it can dump. Or something. Because later, I got a different crash, and that one made a minidump, and I easily found it.

I've had similar crashing.  It's very much like the problems I had with the other sins games before patching the executable "large address aware" bit.

It is really depressing that this is still an issue.  Computers with large amounts of RAM are more and more common these days, and this game is very hungry for RAM.
