playing other races

I downloaded the game and tried to play but it will only let me play TEC race. How do I change it? I clicked on the race button and it does not change.

It's a beta. You can only play TEC Loyalist or TEC Rebel. As of now there aren't that much difference between them.

Be patient and hopefully we'll get a new race in a patch or two.
