Rebellion will use Steam Workshop for mods?

As the title says will Rebellion support Steam Workshop at the release? Sins is an awesome moddable game and Steam Workshop is awesome for modders and gamers. It is easy to use and it works great in Skyrim. I hope Rebellion will use Steam Workshop too. Thank you, I hope you will do it.

It's still under consideration/investigation.

I am sure if you are the right person to ask. I have been following workshops but still not sure how the process would work if you guys do go with workshop. Like gives us an example.

I think the workshop would give sins a LOT of advertising, because for example it was a huge hit for Skyrim to have the steam workshop (was even announced in the main page when they added the feature).

It would make people curious "Oh! a new RTS i didnt knew off with the Workshop!! lets buy it"  ; )

A *friend of mine* bought the game just for the mods, since the mods required the patched version of the game to function, and the patches required impulse.

So yeah, more mods=more sales=more happy gamers pre-ordering rebellion without hesitation :)

I think it would be incredible leverage of a familiar framework, without the hassles of having to build it from-scratch.

There were lots of complaints about the deficiencies of the previous system. It will be especially nice if it is possible to have an auto-mod-download feature for multiplayer games i.e. If the host multiplayer game is based on one or more mods, all players which joined the game in the lobby would automagically download the mods.

At most a prompt stating the names, sizes, total size and estimated time for download would be shown up to the player, and if the player declines he goes out back to the lobby.

*puss-on-boots-eyes* pretty please?
