Side-blur

This is why

On my last skin Hyperborea I asked about & some have mentioned that there is a "Blur" Appearing on the sides of some frames.

More exactly the frames containing graphics... The regular frames with text and transparent background don´t get the "blur"

I have talked to Neil Banfield and he says the Blur appears there on those frames because of the "Neon wing-thingys" on the sides...basically the graphics are "too wide"

I did not want to compromise so It is uploaded like it is....

-No biggie though it would be nice with an update so We can skin frames this wide if the Design-Idea requires it....

Thanx

stayhard ;)

Know what you mean. I had that with Sakura. Graphics too big because of the modules. I can scale them down but with WB's...I wouldn't know where to start.

Yeah....Thing with Hyperborea is that the sidedesign is such a Major thing for the whole blind so Scaling the "Neon-wingy-thingys" Was Never an option.  :(

I understand. Certain graphics/images are done just so and to alter them might throw the entire skin off. Even resizing can change them in subtle ways. Perhaps taking the 'outside the box' thinking and moving it a bit further out to get a better look in and take it from there. Been thinking of a work around. Some of the background solid colors, if made too dark, can leave the ghost image. Same as if they were made too light. I'm looking for that happy middle ground.

I agree...it wouldn't be the same without the wingy thingys.

The next update to WindowBlinds should allow for larger borders to have blur disabled, though massive borders is less than ideal.
